GENERAL

You can make an appointment with the Embassy by clicking this link.

You can submit your applications from Monday to Friday between 9:30 – 12:30, except on Dutch and Malaysian Public Holidays.

The Embassy currently only accepts cash payments. We do not accept credit/debit cards or other forms of payment.

No, the Embassy is unable to provide financial support. We always recommend to get in touch with your travel insurance company. 

VISA

Visa’s can been issued within 1-2 working days.

One of the requirements for a Social Visit Visa is that you have proof of accommodation. If you are staying with friends/family, they will have to write a letter in which it states their relation to you, the address where you will be staying and the duration of your stay.

The letter has to be addressed to the Embassy together with a photocopy of their Passport/IC/Visa.

Only the following nationalities can apply for their Social Visit Visa online:

  • China
  • India
  • Sri Lanka
  • Nepal
  • Myanmar
  • Bangladesh
  • Pakistan
  • Bhutan
  • Serbia
  • Montenegro

PASSPORT RENEWALS

Please call the Embassy as soon as possible to make an appointment. If you passport has expired for more than six (6) months, you will need to prove that you have not obtained the Dutch citizenship.

It will take approximately 6-8 weeks to process your passport application. Your application will be sent to our High Commission in London to be processed and issued. We will notify you once your new passport has arrived at the Embassy.

Please notify us if  you want your application to be expedited.

LEGALIZATIONS

No, The Embassy is only able to legalize Dutch documents for the use in Malaysia. 

No, The Embassy does not provide any translation services.
