If you are a citizen from a country that requires a visa before entering into Malaysia, please submit the application to the Embassy at least 7 days prior to your date of departure. You will receive a stamped visa in your passport within 3 working days from the time of submission.

This visa is issued to foreign nationals who require a visa to enter Malaysia mainly for social or business visits and is valid for a single entry into Malaysia. Multiple Entry Visa’s can be issued if all tickets to and from Malaysia are included in the application. The requirements for a visa are as follows:

1. Visa Application form (please print out double sided)
2. A passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended date of entry
3. A valid Dutch residence permit (if applicable)
4. A return ticket to and from Malaysia or to a third country
5. Proof of accommodation in Malaysia for the full duration of your stay*
6. Guarantee/invitation letter (business)
7. One passport photo
8. Visa Fee (Please bring the exact amount in cash only)

If you are planning to work, study, volunteer or do your internship in Malaysia you will have to apply for a visa through your company/university. Once your application has been approved you will receive a letter from the Malaysian Immigration Department which will instruct you on how to proceed. If you are being instructed to visit the Embassy of Malaysia in The Hague to obtain a Single Entry Visa with reference, please make an appointment and bring the following documents:

1. Visa Application form (please print out double sided)
2. A passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended date of entry
3. Letter from the Malaysian Immigration Department (eVAL/VDR)
4. A valid Dutch residence permit (if applicable)
5. Ticket to Malaysia
6. One passport photo
7. Visa Fee (Please bring the exact amount in cash only)
